Rules
  1. The contest is only open to ICICI Bank Employees who are a part of the Digital Channels and Partnerships Team.
  2. The contest is open from 22nd March to 5th April 2024.
  3. The products in your use cases have to be digital offerings only.
  4. The submissions can be as a team or individually.
  5. Number of members of a team cannot exceed 4.
  6. The duration of the videos has to be between 15 seconds to 60 seconds.
  7. Only members of the digital team can feature in the videos.
  8. Videos have to be in mp4 or mov format.
  9. Videos have to be shot by employees and not professionally shot.
  10. Use of lighting, tripods, mics etc. is allowed to enhance the look and feel of the video.
  11. Videos can have supers such as animation, voice overs, screenshots etc.
  12. You may seek inputs from other employees to firm up your use cases.
  13. For a contest entry to be valid, it has to be submitted on the website www.digikranti.com. Sharing video on Emails, WhatsApp etc. is not permitted.
  14. Each employee / team can submit any number of entries.
  15. You are strictly not allowed to share the videos anywhere including but not limited to your social media network, personal or official contacts, office channels of communication etc. Doing so, will not only disqualify all your / your team’s entries but will also attract disciplinary action.
  16. This website is for the consumption of Digital Channels & Partnerships team only. Do not share this with anybody who is not a part of this team. Doing so will be a violation of the Bank’s policy and will result in a disciplinary action.
Guidelines
  1. Be creative in your approach.
  2. Focus on why, i.e. the benefit and/or use case of the digital product.
  3. Do not focus on how to avail / use the digital product.
  4. Make your videos informative, relatable, and fun.
  5. Preferably pick scenarios that are widely applicable.
  6. While a basic usable quality of the video is required, focus more on content and delivery than the quality of the video.
  7. Rehearse before you shoot.
  8. Feel free to hop on to the current social media trends.
Dos & Don'ts

Dos

  1. Be innovative in your approach - act, sing, dance, emote.
  2. While English is the preferred language for videos, you may pepper it with your local language.
  3. You may dress formally or in smart casuals.
  4. While shooting videos take care not to endanger your or anyone else’s life.
  5. Feel free to use props to enhance your video.
  6. Do talk to your friends, family, colleagues to know their success stories, understand their pain points and/or usage of digital products / services.
  7. Make the videos conversational. Address the audience.

Don'ts

  1. Do not use any copyrighted music in your video.
  2. If in doubt, do not use music.
  3. Your videos should not feature any brand name or logo.
  4. Do not disparage any brand, identity or a person in your video.
  5. Do not shoot the video in sensitive areas including those within the Bank.
  6. Do not use profanities in your video.
  7. Make sure that your videos do not hurt anyone’s religious, and political beliefs.
  8. Your videos should not show any person, groups of people or communities in an undesirable light or exhibit any sort of discrimination.
  9. Do not mention any confidential detail including but not limited to customer details, upcoming product or service, business numbers or strategy.

Can I use animation of being in person or use people?

You can get creative with your video and use animation in totality or animation together with real-life people.



Can I make something on a completely new service that can be made digital?

No, the contest is about making people aware about existing products & services that are digital. Ideation of new possibilities is not within the purview of the current contest.



Can I take people from other teams to help?

Yes, you may take their help as support team. However, someone from the Digital team has to lead the team. Also since the contest is only for the Digital Channels & Partnerships team, the winners and rewards will be only for members of this team.
